Royal Aero Club Air Race

Great Oakley Airfield are delighted to announce we will be hosting Royal Aero Club Air Race in April. This is a handicapped air race open to a wide range of aeroplanes over several laps of a 30 mile course. More information

Royal Aero Club Event

The event finished a great success, with 14 aircraft competing for the two trophies over the course of the weekend. Each aircraft completing 4 laps of the 30 mile course on each day. With Robert Callaway-Lewis winning overall in his Auster. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather over both days allowing for an enjoyable event for both pilots and spectators alike.
